Hill End reclaimed materials sculpture project.
This was a community project involving children and adults from various schools and groups over the course of a few months.
The idea for the sculpture was inspired by Caddis fly larvae. The children nailed various shapes of Silver Birch onto a supporting log, creating the effect of larvae.
The Birch cone was created in a similar way.
